Laramie Daze
• Wednesday, June 29, through Friday, July 1: The Laramie Range Orienteering Club (LROC) will host three days of orienteering events, "Laramie Daze". A perfect way to get acclimated to the altitude and get your racing legs ready!
National Event / Western States Championships
• Saturday, July 2, through Monday, July 4: LROC and the Rocky Mountain Orienteering Club (RMOC) will co-host three classic-distance national ranking events, which will also be designated as the 2016 Western States Orienteering Championships.
All events will take place in the Medicine Bow National Forest, just east of Laramie, Wyoming.
This event will be operated under a special use permit with the Medicine Bow National Forest. In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, RMOC and LROC are prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, and marital or family status. (Not all prohibited bases apply to all programs.)
